BROKEN
C8 WEATHERFRONT

WILLIAM BLAKE.

You broke me

but I was waiting,

pre-fractured

and precarious.

You took the blame.

But yours

Was the breeze,

that I had craved.

Relief was instant,

entire.

Quiet nights

filled with

sleep, no dreams.

I now reflect

my inner truth.

Dry eyes, an

absence of tears.

Now one, once two.

A life alone

within and without.

And I thank you

for breaking me.
